Hi There,
My Name is Aubrey!

Aubrey trujillo, lpc

Therapist

In my free time, you will usually find me at the pool, listening to Taylor Swift, watching a scary movie, at a museum, or playing video games.

    • Teens dealing with all the ups and downs of growing up. Teens that maybe are facing low confidence, anxiety, depression, managing their emotions, self harm, or relationship issues.

    • Young adults trying to figure out what is next. Those trying to navigate independence, understand their life goals, better their romantic relationships or friendship, deal with family issues, or process past traumas.

    • Bachelor of Arts, Sociology, 2018

    • Masters of Science, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, 2021

    • Fully Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas, 2024

    • I love working with teens and young adults! I have over 5+ years working at university counseling settings serving college students. And currently, I work full-time at a community health center as a therapist for teens and young adults with psychosis and diagnoses such as bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, and schizophrenia.

    • In therapy, I enjoy using a mixture of modalities dependent on each person such as CBT, attachment theory, person centered therapy, solution focused therapy, and career coaching.

    • I offer evening hours!

We will work together to understand what your goals of therapy are and how we can work together to reach those goals. I say “we” because I like to see myself as a part of your support system. I will be there to assist you in reaching those goals, and if you happen to stumble, I will be there to help pick you back up. And because we are team members in this, you will see me be my genuine self in our meetings. So that means you will get to see my very real empathy, friendliness (and my humor at times). But that also means that I expect you to be your genuine self with me. I want you to feel comfortable enough to open up to me and know that I am not there to judge you. Instead, with your collaboration, I want to help you realize and reach your goals.
