Hey Y’All,
my name is Kayla.

Supervised by Micki Matthews, LPC-S
Associate Therapist
When I’m not in sessions, I’m probably somewhere between mom-life, serving as a worship leader at church, and trying to convince myself I don’t need another book for my Kindle. I love a good iced coffee, I’m Broadway musical obsessed, and I really enjoy spending time with my family. The things I love outside of therapy continue to remind me of the value of connection, community, and simply being present. I hope to bring those same values into the therapy space.

My hope is to create a warm, genuine space where you feel safe to be honest, ask hard questions, and explore the parts of life that feel overwhelming or uncertain. I believe each person brings their own story, experiences, values, and strengths into the counseling room, and I strive to create a space where you feel respected, understood, and supported. Through authentic connection, self-discovery, and evidence-based practices tailored to your unique needs, we can work together toward greater understanding, resilience, and lasting change.
